Our Ford dealership has seen many 2020 models come in recently, and they're all better than ever. It's been a lot of fun for our Ford dealers to check out all of the new amenities and features they come with, and one model we're especially excited about is the brand-new Ford Edge.

2020 Ford Edge Details

Power and Performance

The Ford Edge has a base turbocharged 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine that generates 250 horsepower. If you go with the ST trim, you will get a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 that produces 335 horsepower. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. No matter which engine you choose, you will get excellent acceleration, along with very good handling. And with a fuel economy of 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, you won't have to worry about stopping for gas too often.

 

Interior

The 2020 Ford Edge has room for five people. Cloth upholstery is standard, as is a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat. Upgrades include synthetic or genuine leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated and power-tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and a 6- or 10-way power-adjustable passenger seat. As for cargo space, you will get 39.2 cubic feet behind the back seats, and 73.4 cubic feet when they are down. If you're looking for a Ford for sale with many advanced tech features, you've found it. Satellite radio, two USB ports, proximity keyless entry, Amazon Alexaâ„¢, Apple CarPlayâ„¢, and Android Autoâ„¢ are all standard in the 2020 Ford Edge. Wireless device charging, navigation, a household-style power outlet, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsenâ„¢ sound system can also be added.

Safety

The new Ford Edge comes with many built-in safety features, including rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors. The MyKey® system is also standard, and this lets you put limits on things like speed and radio volume for secondary drivers. Additional safety features include a 180-degree parking camera system, lane centering assist, front parking sensors, and stop-and-go adaptive cruise control.
